28th annual Stone Soul festival hold in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The annual mill essence festival is back! This is a 28th year that Stone Soul has taken place and kicked off with a march progressing Saturday and a jubilee continues on.
This giveaway annual festival combines good food and good association to emanate a certain eventuality that a whole village can attend in. There was each form of food possible with a special importance on barbecue. Many people told 22News that a food and atmosphere keep them entrance behind year after year even if they no longer live in a area.
Sheldon Griffin, eventuality organizer told 22News, “It gives us a possibility to see a friends that come from out of city who pierce out of this city to come behind and it gives back. You see a small kids carrying a good time, that’s what it’s all about.”
Michael Rousseau, of Springfield mentioned, “It’s a good time, each year we come down and eat some food, get something to splash and association with a people.”
Hundreds of people collected during Blunt Park to knowledge a village comradery, representation a internal food options, play some Carnival games, and listen to a live entertainment.
Stone Soul creatively started as a village picnic, though over a years has stretched into a 3 day festival.
If we wish to conduct down to Blunt Park Saturday night a festival will be going on until 9pm. Sunday will be a mill essence cruise that will take place during 1 o’clock followed by an afternoon of live gospel music.
