Clarks exit rest stop off U.S. 70 opens in time for Christmas

CLARKS | Winter travelers looking for a mangle on a prolonged widen of U.S. 70 between Dover and New Bern are finally in luck.

The U.S. 70 Craven County Rest Area non-stop a doors this week, only in time for holiday travel.

The rest area sealed in Apr 2015 for renovations and was scheduled to free in Dec 2015.
