Mahoney: Royals’ success rekindles fandom for new generation

October 16, 2014 - Picnic Time

ON EBAY FOR A FEW HUNDRED BUCKS BUT THEY HAVE MORE COMING IN. WE WILL BE WEARING THESE HOME TONIGHT. WE ARE CELEBRATING WITH A BIG CROWD. BACK TO MICHEAL MAHONEY. WE ARE HERE — THE THING we WILL LEAVE YOU WITH — THE PARTY CONTINUES AND A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE GONE HOME BUT SOME PEOPLE ARE STILL OUT HERE. SOMEWHERE HERE ALL DAY TODAY. we CALLED MY DAUGHTER AND MY SON, we WATCHED THE GAME WITH MY FAMILY. TAKING PICTURES THE WAY YOU WOULD AT A FAMILY PICNIC TO REMEMBER THIS. THIS IS SOMETHING THAT KANSAS WILL REMEMBER FOR A LONG TIME. THE TREK THROUGH THE BASEBALL DESERTS THE KANSAS CITY FANS HAVE GONE THROUGH. GENERATIONS CAN TRANSFER OUR LOVE OF BASEBALL, FATHER TO DAUGHTER, HANDING IT DOWN. IT’S WHAT MAKES BASEBALL SPECIAL. THAT HASN’T HAPPENED FOR DECADES. A LONG TIME. IT HAS BEEN VERY COOL TO WATCH. TO SEE PEOPLE CONNECTING, WHICH MAY NOT BE THE MOST POPULAR SPORT ANYMORE BUT IT IS THE NATIONAL PASTIME AND IT HAS BEEN VERY COOL TO WATCH HERE IN TOWN. THAT’S WHAT we GOT OUT OF THIS.
