NPI’s Eleventh Anniversary Picnic is in 3 weeks: Don’t forget to RSVP!

Three weeks from today, we’re going to be celebrating NPI’s eleventh anniversary (along with a better of Tim Eyman’s I-1325!) in character during Redmond’s Perrigo Park with a gratifying summer picnic, stability a tradition we began final year.

We will have several special guest with us, including state Senate claimant Matt Isenhower (running in a 45th District) and Holly Mortlock from a bureau of Insurance Commissioner Mike Kreidler. Holly will be fielding questions about Washington’s efforts to exercise a Patient Protection Act.

NPI President Robert Cruickshank and we will also yield an refurbish on NPI’s work and explain how Washington can pierce over Tim Eyman.

Along with a brief vocalization program, we’ll have an vaunt showcasing a photojournalism of NPI’s staff, including yours truly, and anyone who would like to will be acquire to play volleyball or badminton in a sand-filled courts adjacent to a ample cruise shelter. (We’re expecting good continue – it’s August, after all! – though a uncover will go on even in a really doubtful eventuality of rain.)

Of course, as usual, we’ll have copiousness of food… including hamburgers done from locally-raised, grass-fed beef, all healthy prohibited dogs, salmonburgers, gardenburgers, and chips, salad, watermelon, pies, and an anniversary cake. So greatfully devise to join us on Aug 22nd for what promises to be a really fun evening.

The cruise will flog off during 5 PM and run until eve during around 8:30 PM. No acknowledgment will be charged – this is is a “pay what we can” event, with a suggested concession of during slightest $25. We’re seeking supporters to RSVP so we know how most food to get.

Perrigo Park is located during 9011 196th Avenue NE, Redmond, WA 98053 (between Union Hill Road and Novelty Hill Road). It is a illusory open park, owned and operated by a City of Redmond. Note that city law prohibits a sale or expenditure of alcoholic beverages in parks, so we are not means to offer beer, wine, or spirits during a cruise (and we ask that we not move any, either). But we will have lovely non-alcoholic beverages for your enjoyment.
