Parks & Rec. Accepting Picnic, Camping Permit Reservations

The Greenwich Department of Parks and Recreation will accept reservations for residents who wish to obtain cruise and overnight camping permits for a 2017 Season, commencement on Tuesday, Jan. 17 at 8 a.m. in a Cone Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Town Hall. First come, initial serve.

Residency contingency be determined with dual proofs for a primary addressee on a domicile comment and one explanation for a assent hilt (if not a primary addressee) during or before a time of reservation. (Acceptable proofs of residency; residential let lease, stream application bill, stream credit label bill, bank statement, CT ID Card or Driver’s License will be supposed as proof).

Reservations for overnight island camping include: Great Captain Island and Island Beach. Reservations are singular to one night per family per season.

Reservations for city cruise areas include: Bruce Park-Wood Road Picnic Area, Byram Park Clambake Area, Greenwich Point Clambake Area, Greenwich Point Cowbarn Area, and a Pinetum Picnic Area. Reservations are singular to one reservation per family per season.

All fees contingency be paid in full during a time of reservation. Cash (exact- change usually please), checks (made payable to: “Town of Greenwich”), and Visa, MasterCard Discover credit cards are accepted.

If we have an open change with a Parks and Recreation bureau for any of the services or programs, we contingency settle this volume due before any Picnic and/or Overnight Island Camping permits will be issued.
