Seniors applaud in record numbers during Sheriff’s Senior Picnic

SHREWSBURY – Worcester County Sheriff and Holden proprietor Lew Evangelidis had a graphic pleasure of hosting over one thousand comparison adults from via Worcester County for a Sheriff’s Annual Senior Picnic hold in Aug during SAC Park in Shrewsbury. The Sheriff’s cruise has turn a rarely expected and dear annual eventuality for a county’s comparison village and this year drew a record crowd.
“As Sheriff hosting a annual comparison cruise is one of a biggest highlights of a year, it’s always a good respect to give behind to a seniors who have given so most to their communities,” pronounced Evangelidis. “We are anxious it has turn such a dear annual tradition and it’s illusory to see along with a record turnout, everybody carrying such a good time.”
The cruise was sponsored by a Worcester County Reserve Deputy Sheriff’s Association including donations by many internal businesses and featured a normal BBQ menu, money bingo, raffle prizes, nominal present bags and song entertainment. Over 250 volunteers, including over 100 members of a Nichols College football team, were also on palm to support with a high turnout. The Sheriff also supposing invalid labor to support with a setup and relapse of a rarely attended event.
“We had a super, super day,” pronounced Senior Picnic attendee, Grayce Jones of Holden. “Every year a Sheriff’s Senior Picnic gets bigger and improved and all a volunteers do so most to make it special. We are so advantageous to have a Sheriff who cares so most about a comparison community.”
“There was so most fun and fad during this year’s comparison cruise as Sheriff we am already looking brazen to formulation this eventuality for subsequent year,” pronounced Evangelidis.
