The Big Ole SUP-athon is a two-day Stand Up Paddleboarding eventuality designed to strengthen a tie between a people and a lakes of West-Central Minnesota while lifting supports for internal 501(c) charities. The Big Ole SUP-athon (BOS) offers courses of 2, 6, 10 and 26 miles to be enjoyed by paddlers of all ability levels. The eventuality strictly starts during 5PM on Thursday, Jul 7th during Bugaboo Bay with a Faction Boardshop SUP Promotion / BOS Check-In Packet Pick-Up. At 7PM a Little Lena “Aquatic Parade” opposite Lake L’Homme Dieu starts during Rotary Beach. Feel giveaway to paddle a 1.8 miles behind to Bugaboo Bay on your favorite non-motorized watercraft, wearing a costume, with your spouse, crony or respectful dog. On Friday, Jul 8th a 26 mi Big Ole SUP-athon starts during 7AM during a East Lake Miltona Public Access. The BOS spans 13 lakes with 23 mi of open H2O and 3 mi of interlake streams. The BOS is a fully-supported competition with useful staff, food and H2O stationed about any 3-5 miles along a march and ends during a Lake Victoria Public Access. The 10 mi Sven 10 starts during 10AM during a North Lake Louise culverts, 11.5 mi from a BOS start, and ends during Bugaboo Bay. The 6 mi Sven 6 starts during 11AM during a Lake Cowdry Public Access, 15.5 and 4.1 mi from a BOS and Sven 10 starts, and ends during Bugaboo Bay. Medals and money prizes will be awarded to a tip 3 Men’s Women’s finishers for any competition during 5:30PM during Bugaboo Bay, followed by a celebratory post-race cooking and libations.
