Valpo firefighters horde annual picnic

VALPARAISO | Warm temperatures and a H2O sprinkler were only a sheet for children Wednesday afternoon during a Valparaiso Firefighters Local 1124 annual cruise during Foundation Meadows Park.
For 4 years now a Local 1124 binds this giveaway cruise for a community. It customarily takes place during ValPlayso though since of ongoing construction it took place during Foundation Meadows this year.
Robert Cree, firefighter/paramedic, has orchestrated a eventuality for all 4 years.
“We have had a lot of success with it,” he said. “We altered parks this year and it has worked out.”
Members of Local 1124 prepare about 1,000 prohibited dogs and hamburgers. They also move a glow reserve residence with them along with firetrucks and an ambulance children can check out.
Dustin Buchanan, firefighter/paramedic, was display a firetruck to concerned children.
“This is my initial time during a picnic,” he said. “I am removing a lot of people over here to demeanour during a truck.”
Stephanie Carlson, of Valparaiso, brought her dual children.
“This is my initial time bringing them,” she said. “My friends had talked about it before and we only never came. This is so good and it’s a pleasing day and with propagandize starting shortly we won’t be means to do this most anymore.”
